Policy update The National Innovation visa replaced the Global Talent visa (closed to new applications 6 December 2024) and the closed business investor program. The subclass number 858 is reused, but the criteria are new.

Submit an EOI setting out your achievements and your nominator.

Invitation

If selected, you are invited to apply. Priority bands affect timing.

Application

Lodge within 60 days of invitation with full supporting evidence.

Grant

Permanent residence on grant, with no temporary stage.
